Bandipora: Continuing with Block Divas initiatives of Lieutenant Governor Administration, the Additional Commissioner Kashmir, Qazi Sarwar on Wednesday attended Block Diwas in Sumbal Sub Division to get the first hand appraisal of the issues faced by the public.
The public interaction programme witnessed huge participation of locals who were anxious to present the issues of the area before the officers.
Director UBL, Chairman Municipal Committee Hajin and Sumbal, Executive Engineer R&B, Tehsildar Sumbal, Executive Officer MC Sumbal, and PRI members were present on the occasion.
Apart from other issues people stressed on ensuring regular power supply, availability of pure drinking water and ration, Solid Waste management in Panchayats and towns, renovation of water bodies, macadamization of left out roads besides bringing Wullar on tourism map.
Qazi Sarwar gave patient hearing to the public grievances and assured them that their issues will be resolved on priority.
