J&K logs no fresh COVID cases

Srinagar: No fresh cases of COVID-19 were reported in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 24 hours, even as 13 patients suffering with viral infection have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals, officials said Monday.

No new case of Mucormycosis (black fungus) was reported today; so far the total number of confirmed cases across J&K remain at 51, they said.

On vaccination, the daily media bulletin on novel coronavirus informed that 17,771 doses of COVID vaccine were administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered so far across J&K to 2,23,26,135.

According to the bulletin, out of 4,53,889 positive cases recorded cumulatively in J&K so far, currently there are 79 active positive cases in the UT including 78 in Kashmir and one in Jammu division. So far 4,49,060 persons have recovered from the disease and 4,750 have died – 2,423 in Kashmir division and 2,327 in Jammu division.
