DYSSO Shopian flags-off UT level 3 teams to various Jammu districts

SHOPIAN: The District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO), Shopian, Gurmukh Singh Dutta today flagged-off UT level 3 teams viz. Volleyball U-19, Boys to Rajouri,  Kho-Kho U- 17, Boys to Udhampur and Kabaddi U-17 Boys to Kathua from Government Boys Higher Secondary School Shopian to participate in their respective games, there.

The tour for these teams is being arranged by the DYSSO with the objective to provide a platform to the J&K District level students so that they can exhibit their talents and improve their match temperament.

Dutta said that the aim of the flag-off is to promote these games and that our students may get exposure and get benefitted.

He also advised the supporting staff and the Mentor to not allow any player to visit any other place or market for any shopping etc. He advised all the players and staff for strict compliance of guidelines to tackle covid i.e. using mask at all times, washing hands regularly, avoiding handshakes with other players during match or post match ceremonies etc.

Among others District Information Officer, Shopian, Showkat Ahmed Khan, Incharge YSS, Riyaz Ahmed Wachkoo and officers and officials of DYSS were present.
