Youth goes missing from Shalimar, family appeals him to return

Srinagar: Family of a missing youth from Shalimar area of the city Monday appealed to their son to return home as soon as possible.

Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar from Shalimar area of Srinagar, according to his family left home for work on 11th of last month and is missing since.

Bisma Jan, wife of Imtiyaz, said the family lodged a missing complaint at the concerned police station the very next day, however he could not be traced till date.

“I belong to Pampore town and was married in Shalimar some four months ago. My husband Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar left home on 11th of February for work but did not return. I request him to return home as soon as possible. I am worried about him and appeal to the police to speed up the investigation to trace him,” Bisma told ‘Kashmir Images’.

Her mother, Muneera Akhtar also appealed to her son-in-law to return home.

“We are very much worried about his safety; my son-in-law has been missing for the last fourteen days and police have not been able to trace him as yet,” said Muneera.

Ghulam MohidinGassi, father-in-law of Imtiyaz also made a fervent appeal to his son-in-law to return home for the sake of his daughter who he said cries all the time.

“Imtiyaz went missing suddenly making all of us apprehensive, my daughter’s life will be ruined if he does not return. I appeal to Imtiyaz to return home as there is no one to take care of his family,” Gassi told ‘Kashmir Images’.
