Police traces out missing lady in Bandipora

Srinagar: Police in Bandipora have traced a lady who was missing since 22th Feb and reunited with her family.

“On 22/02/2022, PS Hajin received a written complaint stating therein that lady namely Sheeraza Begum wife of Ishfaq Ahmad Khan resident of Hajin is missing from Hajin market,” said a police spokesperson.

“Accordingly, a missing report was lodged in Police Station Hajin and investigation was initiated,” the spokesperson said.

“Subsequently, massive search was launched by a police team under the guidance/supervision of SDPO Hajin Latief Khan and SHO PS Hajin Insp Zahoor Ahmad,” he said.

“After strenuous efforts and utilising all available technical/human resources, the said lady was traced from Ashmuqam Anantnag. After completion of all legal/medical formality the said lady was handed over to her relatives. Family members of the traced missing lady have applauded the efforts by Bandipora police for prompt response in tracing her out,” he added.
