Every day we are used to experiencing wayward acts done upon women. Different crimes are being committed. It includes gang rapes, harassments that is too at the open public places, acid throwing incidents, murders, blackmailing and many other crimes are reported on daily basis. The miscreants, goons who are promoting rampant drugs throughout the country are the main culprits and should be sentenced. There are vicious types of crimes which are reported late through media or circulated in different platforms, due to certain unknown reasons or due to certain threats.
India is a democratic country where every singular has his/her own fundamental right like right to equality, right to freedom of religion, culture and education etc. to disturb peace and harmony among the communities, there are different platforms that are used and responsible for spreading the hatred slogans, dividing people on the basis of religion, caste, colour, and sex. Somewhat they are getting success in their cheap motto but at the same time, intellectual people are also a part of this society who are playing their role as hero of the nation, they support their country in different means and help in maintaining the peace and harmony among the various communities.
One should introspect his/her surroundings and should notice what’s happening in the society. The moments when every individual becomes responsible and have concerns about their society the crime graph starts dipping. We are not responsible enough and most of the time we ignore the crimes when they are about to get initiated in front of us. Things should be listened carefully, redressed immediately in a very peaceful manner. It will help to not rampant social evils and help to get hurdles in the way of promoting waywardness among the young generation and bring peace.
Acid attacking or acid throwing is a common revenge taken nowadays. In the society acid throwing and the acid attackers are considered among the uncivilised, inhuman, cruel, vicious and dangerous for the society deserves capital punishment and should not be exculpated at any hard circumstances. Women: a mother, a sister, a wife, a daughter, a crown of the family, a princess. Until one should not have the moral knowledge, not have the value of modesty, the women will never understand her in a very great manner.
Why are women harassment crimes taking an elevation in the country? Why is she not given the right to express herself freely? Why does she have a taboo that she is being deprived, marginalized in society, in the family? Why is she living in an environment where she feels herself unsecure and strange? Why is she not being cared for with modesty, love, respect. There are several issues in our society that women are women, in fact they are women’s but not our servants. In recent 12th class board exams girls beat boys and bagged all top positions, bringing laurels for their teachers, parents.
Suggestions: acid selling should be utterly banned throughout the country and there would be no way of selling it illegally. We know acid has great importance. It is being used in scientific laboratories, used in batteries of vehicles, used in domestic batteries and has great demand in the market. Selling of acid should be kept under the control of government administration. Before issuing acid to a purchaser proper analysis should be done or government administrations should distribute it in the mini mobile carriages and filling of acid into the batteries should be done under stringent provisions.
It has been more than a week since a heartfelt incident happened in Srinagar Kashmir. A 24 year old girl was victimised by acid attack. As per sources of newspapers, briefings of the officials it was circulating that the face of the girl was damaged badly. One thing is really appreciated in favour of the police that they have done their part in a very short time. Concerned police station has detained the accused and his companions in a very short span. Since then, religious conglomerates, student unions, and politicians have condemned the heinous act. Demands capital punishment for the accused persons. State police: as we know plays an important role in bringing peace and settling the crime cases for decades but the responsibility is not over yet. These days’ police are laced with technology and have full public support in stopping the crimes. Jammu Kashmir police should ward and watch every sticky moment and should take action immediately, so that such heartfelt incidents should not happen in future.
