Editor-in-Chief Shaharbeen All India Radio Srinagar Maqsood Ahmed was chief guest on the occasion.

Ahmad urged one and all to join the drive and plant more and more trees under “Green Sub-Division Uri” drive.

“I will take up the matter for the massive plantation near the view point with the forest department,” he said.

He also called late Zulfiqar Ali, a wonderful human. “Such heroes are not born again. He will always be missed and remain in our hearts,” he added.

Zulfiqar died in a road accident near view point in Garkote on 25th June 2020.
