Baramulla: Two technicians suffered burn injuries after an Oxygen Plant panel bursted accidentally at Government Medical College Baramulla on Monday morning, officials said.
The Oxygen panel developed snag after short circuit resulting in leakage of gas at Oxygen Plant of the hospital.
Confirming the incident Principal GMC Dr Ruby Reshi said, “I am enquiring the details, primary investigation has relieved that a panel in oxygen plant developed some technical snag and it has bursted.”
“Two techcians have suffered superficial burn injuries and nothing very serious,” he added.
He identified the injured as Asif Ashraf of Delina Baramulla and Saleem Nabi of Kanli Bagh Baramulla.
Both the technicians have been shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for treatment.
