Anantnag: The prominent journalist, poet & writer, Makbool Veeray was remembered on his second death anniversary here at SET Medical & Nursing College Bijbihara Anantnag on Sunday.
The event was organised by Maraz Writers & Artists guild, Anantnag in colloburation with Maraz Adbi Sangam٫ SET Medical & Nursing College and Sachnews Jammu Kashmir.
On the occasion, many prominent personalities shed light on the life of Makbool Veeray and spoke about the philosophy of life and death.
Among the speakers Raja Yousuf, Zahid Mukhtar, Zafer Farooq Salati, Dr Mohammad Shafi Ayaz٫ S.Mashoq Ahmad٫ S.Tariq٫ Tasaduk Rashid٫ Imran Yousuf and Sachnews team were present on the occasion.
The function was presided over by well known personalty of Bijbihara Gh Muhammad Laloo.
S. Mashooq Ahmad shed the light on the whole life of Makbool Veeray while as Imran Yousuf translated and read the one of the latest “Ghazal” of Makbool Veeray
