JKBI celebrates “GOOD GOVERNANCE WEEK”-2021

NEW DELHI: Jammu and Kashmir Bureau of Information (JKBI) today celebrated “GOOD GOVERNANCE WEEK”-2021 at 5-Prithvi Raj Road here.

The function was attended by the Deputy Director, JKBI, Veedushi Kapoor, staff members and other concerned officials of the bureau.

The main aim of the function was to create awareness among the people regarding accountability, transparency and responsibility in Government.

On the occasion, a symposium on “GOOD GOVERNANCE” on the theme “PRASHASHAN GAON KI AUR” was also organized in which several children participated. The symposium focused on increasing efficiency in decision making in Government offices, to redress public grievances and to improve service delivery.

During the event, Deputy Director JKBI and other staff members also shared their experiences and made suggestions on strengthening Good Governance.
