Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference General Secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar on Thursday condemned killing of a police officer and a civilian in two separate attacks in Bijbehara and Nawa Kadal Srinagar respectively.
Sagar said that violence in any of its manifestations is always unacceptable and will yield nothing except for further death and destruction. “My heartfelt condolences to the families of Rouf Ahmed and ASI Muhammad Ashraf, killed by gunmen the other day. May Allah grant them Jannah and give much needed strength to their families to bear this inconsolable loss,” he said adding, “The fresh spate of violence has again given slip to the deteriorating security situation in Kashmir. Such despicable incidents only leave a trail of never ending suffering behind them. I share the grief of bereaved,” he added.
Meanwhile, Senior party leader Mubarak Gul and South Zone President Dr Bashir Ahmed Veeri have also expressed deepest sympathies with the bereaved.
