The Director General, while highlighting the purpose of DGGI, informed that the system is likely to be implemented by January 2022 when all districts and sectors shall be given a formal rank. He informed the participants that District Good Governance Index (DGGI) was one of the commitments made in the Kashmir Aelamia Declaration 2021.

Later, DG convened the second meeting on documentation/certification of Case Studies regarding success stories of J&K by IMPARD in collaboration with Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad.

During the meeting, Programme Manager represented the Centre for Good Governance (CGG), Hyderabad.

The meeting had a review of all the four case studies including Back to Village (B2V) Programme, Ayushman Bharat Health Insurance Scheme of Health and Medical Education Department, Empowerment: Setting Benchmarks in Transparency and J&K Bank: A Story of Transformation.

Director General stressed the need for removing communication gaps so that work on these case studies is expedited.
