DG Horti pays surprise visit to various subordinate offices in Sgr
Instructs District Heads to deduct one-day salary of absentee employees
SRINAGAR: To ensure punctuality and improve the work culture in the department, the Director General (DG) Horticulture Kashmir today paid a surprise visit to various subordinate offices in Srinagar district.
The DG visited the Offices of Chief Horticulture Officer, Nursery Registration Officer, Divisional Manager Plantation Protection, Chief Canning and Processing Instructor, Srinagar, and found several employees absent from duties without prior permission.
Taking serious notice of the absenteeism, DG gave on spot instructions to deduct one day salary of absentees and concerned controlling officers were directed to furnish the action taken report.
DG further instructed all the District Heads to strictly adhere to office timing, to provide best services to the farming community. He also said that special task force will be formed to monitor the working in the Offices.
