Fresh snowfall shuts Kupwara-Karnah road for traffic
Kupwara: Authorities on Tuesday afternoon suspended traffic on Kupwara-Karnah road due to fresh snowfall at Sadhna Top.
According to locals the snowfall started at 11 am this morning at Sadhna Top with main town Tanghdar also witnessing fresh precipitation.
As per reports at least seven inches of snow was recorded at main town Tanghdar.
Officials confirmed that the traffic on Kupwara-Karnah highway was suspended as a precautionary measure.
“Traffic would be restored tomorrow, if weather permitted,” they said.
