Drugs worth millions of rupees were recovered from their possession, the report said.

The news agency quoted SSP Pulwama Ghulam Jeelani Wani as saying that a SIT headed by DSP headquarters has been constituted in this case and more arrests are expected.

The SSP further said that the “priority of the police is to curb drug dealers instead of drug users”.

A case under FIR 302/21 has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been initiated.
