Pertinently, Kala Utsav is a regular feature of the academic calender with an aim to promote finer arts in education by nurturing and showcasing the artistic talent of school students. It also recognizes the importance of aesthetics and artistic experiences which play a major role in creating awareness about the rich cultural heritage of India and its vibrant diversity.

The winners of district level competitions, held earlier, competed in 5 different categories today to exhibit their talent and reserve a berth in the Union Territory Level competitions with an eye on the national level competition.
