While expressing satisfaction on the achievement of 30% growth in the Bank’s insurance income CMD R K Chhibber directed the Bank staff posted at operational levels to make strenuous efforts so that the benefits of insurance reach all sections of society including the marginalized ones. “In order to increase our bottom-line we must redouble our efforts to increase income streams other than the interest. And life-insurance is one of the most under-explored areas especially in the current Covid-times,” said the CMD.

“We must ensure immediate settlement of claims of deceased persons while keeping focus on existing customers besides educating the concerned staff in this regard across our operational geographies,” he added.

Speaking on the occasion MD Pnb MetLife Ashish Srivastava expressed his gratitude to the CMD J&K Bank and assured him of strengthening the two-decade long partnership. “We have one of the best claim settlement ratio in the industry besides innovative and affordable products available in the market. And Today I assure all of you that we shall further improve our services to match the credibility that J&K Bank brings to this partnership,” he said.
