DDC Chairperson Baramulla takes review of dev works under ADP

Baramulla: The District Development Council (DDC) Chairperson Baramulla, Safeena Beigh, today chaired a meeting to take a holistic review of the pace and position of various developmental projects undertaken by different executing agencies under Area Development Plan (ADP) (Capex Budget) at Dak Bungalow, here.

On the occasion, a comprehensive discussion was held wherein the CEO briefed the chair about the current status of developmental activities undertaken by different departments. He gave a sector-wise briefing of different works and presented in depth details during the meeting.

After taking a detailed review, Safeena Beigh stressed upon the concerned agencies to ramp up the pace of work so that all the undertaken projects are completed well within a stipulated time frame.

She emphasized mobilising all the available resources productively and effectively for achieving the desired results. She also assured full cooperation on her part and added that socio-economic development should be sole priority.

Meanwhile, various issues hampering the process of development, were thoroughly discussed in the meeting during which the chairperson assured that all the impediments shall be taken with the concerned authorities for their time-bound redressal.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Executive Officer, SEs of line departments, heads of concerned departments, among other functionaries.
