Srinagar : The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Vice President Mr. Omar Abdullah on Friday visited Banihal on the first leg of his eight day tour to Chenab Valley.
Party Vice President was given a rousing welcome at Banihal by District Ramban functionaries. The Party Vice President, who is accompanied by his Political Advisor Tanvir Sadiq was received by District President Ramban, Sajad Shaheen, YNC Provincial President Aijaz Jan and scores of other party and YNC functionaries.
Later he presided over a meeting of working committee members of district Ramban. During the breadth of meeting party’s local unit functionaries apprised him about various political activities of the party in the district. The interaction was also marked by wide ranging discussion on the development scenario in the region and plethora of other issues concerning the people.
