Srinagar: National Investigation agency (NIA) arrested Khuram Parvez, a human rights activist from Srinagar today.
Sources said that Parvez has been booked under Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) and other multiple charges.
Ahead of arrest, NIA carried out searches at the residence of Parvez at posh Sonwar area of Srinagar and his office at Amira Kadal.
Sources said that at around 12 in the noon, NIA teams visited office and residence of Khuram and confiscated his phone, laptop and other material before arresting him.
