J&K logs 193 fresh COVID-19 cases
Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir on Friday reported 193 new positive cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), officials said.
They said of the new cases, 170 were reported from Kashmir and 23 from the Jammu division, taking the cumulative total of positive cases recorded so far in Jammu and Kashmir to 3,35,016.
They said 105 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals including 87 from Kashmir and 18 from Jammu division in the last 24 hours.
No new case of mucormycosis (black fungus) was reported today.
On vaccination, the daily media bulletin on novel coronavirus informs that 34,365 doses of COVID vaccine were administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K so far to 1,60,91,367.
According to the bulletin, out of 3,35,016 positive cases reported cumulatively so far, currently there are 1,669 active positive cases across J&K, including 1,407 in Kashmir and 262 in Jammu division, while as 3,28,888 persons have recovered and 4,459 have died – 2,277 in Kashmir and 2,182 in Jammu division.
