MD ICPS reviews implementation of PM Cares for Children scheme, SASCM

Srinagar: The Mission Director (MD) ICPS, Shabnam Shah Kamili, today reviewed the implementation of PM Cares for Children Scheme and SASCM (Special Assistance Scheme for Covid Mortalities) through a virtual meeting convened here.

Mission Director, ICPS while taking review about the latest status of PM Cares for Children Scheme and SASCM, pressed upon the participants to identify the beneficiaries for the Scheme and upload their details on PM Cares Portal.

The MD urged the officers to ensure effective implementation of these schemes and make sure that the beneficiaries are benefited to the maximum. She said that a joint account should be opened in the name of the beneficiary and the concerned District Magistrate in the post office. She directed to upload all the details on the portal in a time-bound manner.

Kamili said that the Department is taking every step to pass on the benefits of the schemes to the beneficiaries.

She also sought details about Bal Swaraj portal of National Commission for Protection of Child Rights and directed for uploading details of Children in Street Situation.

The meeting was attended by DCPOs of J&K, Chairpersons/ Incharge Chairpersons and Members of CWC’s of J&K.
