This tour will begin on November 23 – and the team is scheduled to play three four-day matches with South Africa.

It is pertinent to mention that Malk, who was recently part of India T20 squad in T20 World Cup as net bowler, made a mark after impressing everyone with his sheer pace during Indian Premier League (IPL) for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the UAE. He emerged as the fastest bowler of IPL 2021 by clocking 153kph and consistently bowling over 150 kph.

Malik recently led J&K to win in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy by bagging a four wickets.

Many international players had heaped praises for Malik after watching him bowling consistently over 150 kph and hoped that he will perform well at international stage if he is properly groomed.

Notably, Umran Malik, a resident of Gujjar Nagar Jammu, became the fourth player from Jammu and Kashmir to play in the IPL after Parvaiz Rasool, Rasikh Salam and Abdul Samad. (KNO)
