V-C KVIB reviews implementation of SFURTI scheme

Jammu: Vice Chairperson J&K Khadi & Village Industries Board (KVIB) Dr Hina Shafi Bhat today reviewed the progress in the establishment of Clusters in Jammu Division under Scheme of Funds for regeneration of traditional Industries (SFURTI).

The meeting was attended by Dy Chief Executive Officer (Scheme),  Mohammad Muzaffar Allaqaband; Dy Chief Executive Officer Jammu Division, Tilak Raj; Executive Officer (Scheme), Dr Sandeep Kotwal, representatives of Implementing Agencies & Technical Agencies, besides other Senior Officers of the Department.

It was informed that three beekeeping clusters namely Masterjee Beekeeping Cluster in Samba, Kailash Kund-Sudh Mahadev Beekeeping Cluster in Doda and Banihal Beekeeping Cluster in Ramban have been sanctioned under SFURTI by MoMSME through its nodal agency J&K KVIB.

Amount of Rs 362.14 lakh under Hard Intervention stands released in favour of the three clusters of Jammu Division. As informed by the Implementing Agencies, the establishment of all the three CFCs would be accomplished by the end of Dec 2021.

The Vice-Chairperson asked F.A & C.A.O to release funds under Soft Intervention, and directed Implementing Agencies to organise all the programmes viz awareness camps, Training Programmes etc before 8th of Dec 2021 so that the Beekeepers & beneficiaries and also the locals can be made the part of it in the future.
