KPDCL issues power curtailment schedule for Srinagar effective from Nov 7

Srinagar: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited on Saturday announced a curtailment schedule for district Srinagar for both metered as well as non-metered area effective from Sunday.

A communique by the KPDCL while notifying the curtailment schedule asked consumers to use electricity judiciously especially during peak hours to avoid overloading of system and to minimize the curtailment.

It also asked consumers to pay their electricity bills on time.

For metered areas, the morning curtailment schedule will be from 7:30-8:15 AM, 8:15-9:00 AM and 9:00-9:45 AM while evening schedule from 6:45-7:30 PM, 7:30-8:15 PM and 8:15-9:00 PM.

The morning curtailment schedule for non-metered areas will be 07:00 AM-08.30 AM, 08:30 AM 10.00 AM and 10.00 AM to 11.30 AM while evening schedule will be 06.00 PM to 07.30 PM, 07.30 PM to 09.00 PM and 09.00 PM to10.30 PM
