People will expose those involved in recent killings: GoC Pandey

Baramulla: General Officer Commanding 15 Corps, Lt. Gen D P Pandey on Sunday said that people of the Valley will expose the faces who are behind the recent civilian killings in Srinagar and elsewhere.

Talking to reporters on the sidelines of inauguration of New Dagger Parivar school in Baramulla, LT. Gen Pandey said that the people who are involved in these condemnable killings need to learn the lessons of love from the children, who love every lining being “pure-heartedly”.

“These killings are extremely condemnable and I believe that Kashmiri society being a peaceful society would themselves expose the attackers,” he added.

Pandey said these killing are aimed at creating a rift between the different religious communities of J&K. “From the last one year, positive changes have been seen in J&K. So to disrupt these changes and communal harmony, these attacks are aimed to induce violence between the common masses,” he said.

Panday further said that he believes all the religious communities in J&K will through harmony support each other and fight against the enemies of the nation.
