Shopian: Director Rural Development Department (RDD) Kashmir, Tariq Ahmad Zargar, today visited various blocks of Shopian district.
The Director reviewed progress of timely payments and AADHAR linkage and it was informed that cent percent payments and Aadhar linkage has been achieved in all the blocks.
He inspected various on-going works in Balapora, Keegam, Wathoo, Heerpora and reviewed the pace of progress of the blocks under different flagship programmes including MGNREGA, 14th F.C, PMAY, Back to Village and directed the concerned field functionaries to speed up the process of execution and ensure completion of all on-going works within stipulated time frame.
The Director also held public interactions with PRIs and senior citizens of the blocks and got feedback regarding the developmental activities carried out in the area.
He was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Development Shopian, Hilal Ahmed and other concerned officers.
