Baramulla: A 25-year-old youth was injured after being attacked by a leopard in Qazipora Village of Tangmarg sub-division of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday evening.
Reports said that the youth identified as Showkat Ahmad Khatana son of Jaladeen Khateena, a resident of Qazipora village of Tangmarg, was outside his home when a leopard attacked him.
The family and others, who were around, rescued him and chased away the beast with sticks and stones, they said.
The injured was shifted to sub-district hospital Tangmarg for treatment, they added. (GNS)
