Srinagar: The two-day workshop on the implementation of National Education Policy 2020 concluded today at SKICC Srinagar.

The workshop was attended by School leaders from across the Kashmir Division and by the Education Reform Committees at different levels from both the divisions in online and offline mode.

Principal Secretary to Govt. School Education Department J&K (UT), B.K. Singh, Chairperson JKBOSE (Director SCERT J&K), Prof. Veena Pandita, Director School Education Kashmir, Dr. Tassaduq Hussain, Director School Education Jammu, Dr.  Ravi Shankar, Project Director Samagra Shiksha J&K, Deep Raj, Joint Secretary JKBOSE, Prof. Wahid Makhdoomi, attended the workshop, besides other Sr. officers of the Department were also present.

The workshop was formally inaugurated by Lieutenant Governor J&K (UT) shortly after the Culmination of Teachers’ Day celebrations on September 5th. It was aimed at training the school leaders and preparing them to practically implement the recommendations of the policy in the schools.
