Karnah: A man from Amrooi was found dead today at Needi behak near Tee Pee area along Kupwara Karnah road.

Locals said that the deceased, identified as Abdul Quyoom Buden S/O Gumani Buden of Amrooi had gone uphill to cut grass but did not come back. The people from the area searched for him all night but failed to trace him, they said.

However, it was today morning that they found his body on the other side of the hillock, BDC chairman Nishada Parveen told this reporter.

As per the locals the death seems to have occurred due to fall from hill.

After legal-medico formalities, the body was handed over the family.
