Srinagar: Advisors to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar; Farooq Khan and Baseer Ahmad Khan have extended their warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Janamashtami.
While extending their greetings, the Advisors maintained that this festival reminds us of the birth, simplicity and heroic deeds of the young Lord Krishna ”who is immortalized in our popular consciousness. They added that we must derive inspiration from the life and teachings of Lord Krishna.
The Advisors expressed hope that this festival may further cement bonds between various communities and culture of our unique country.
The Advisors also prayed for peace, progress and prosperity of entire Jammu and Kashmir.
