Srinagar: Director Tourism Kashmir, Dr. G N Itoo, today visited the shrine of Hazrat Baba Payam ud Din Reshi (R.A.) at Tangmarg and took stock of the facilities and amenities available to the devotees there.

He instructed the staff there to ensure that devotees and tourists coming to the shrine do not face any inconvenience and are duly facilitated.

The Director Tourism later visited Kreeri where he visited the shrine of Hazrat Syed Murad Bukhari(R.A.).

He also visited Shranz tourist resort.

Dr. Itoo reviewed the status of infrastructure facilities and reviewed the works undertaken for the facilitation of devotees and tourists at these shrines and the tourist resort. He asked for dovetailing various components of the works for early completion so that tourists and devotees get the benefit of the same.

Later, the Director Tourism threw open the renovated tourist cafeteria and wayside facility at Rengi. The cafeteria would add to the facilities for tourists visiting North Kashmir.

Senior officers of the Tourism Department and local tourism stakeholders were present on the occasion.
