Speaking on the occasion, the CMD said that the special day should inspire all of us to work for the welfare of the country and its people, in our own humble ways, as envisioned by our forefathers who gave huge sacrifices for our freedom.

“Being the flagship financial institution in the region, our mission has always been to financially empower people. Let me reiterate J&K Bank has an important role to play in nation building and we will continue to play our systemic role in realizing the Government’s vision of making J&K economically the most developed and socially inclusive UT in the country”, said the CMD on the occasion.

He further added, “therefore, we must redouble our commitment and efforts to make J&K UT a place of progress and prosperity for its people. Also, we need to meet expectations of all our stakeholders while taking this Bank to newer heights of profitability and excellence.”

Similar Flag-raising ceremonies were also held at the Bank’s Zonal Office.
