Tangmarg: Two pregnant women on Wednesday gave birth to stillborn babies due to alleged negligence of doctors at Sub-District Hospital Tangmarg.

According to reports, Jabina Begum wife of Nisar Ahmed Sheikh, resident of Mahin Ferozpora and Rohait Faheem wife of Farooq Ahmad Lone, resident of Ferozpora, who were undergoing treatment at Sub-District Hospital Tangmarg, gave birth to two stillborn babies due to the absence of doctors.

The locals alleged that the doctors posted at the SDH Tangmarg compel the patients to visit private clinics for treatment. “After 4 pm, the hospital remains under the control of paramedical staff. “

Meanwhile, Sub-District Magistrate Gulmarg has taken serious note of the deaths of two children and assured to seize the hospital records and conduct an investigation.

He informed that an investigation team led by Naib Tehsildar Tangmarg will probe the alleged negligence of doctors.
