Two youth from Tangmarg found dead in Srinagar

Tangmarg: Two cousin brothers hailing from Sheikhpora Tangmarg were found dead in a vehicle under mysterious circumstances near SMHS Hospital Srinagar on Friday.

Shahid Ahmad Qadri son of Fayaz Ahmad Qadri, 32, and Mohsin Qadri son of Muhammad Maqbool Qadri, 29, had left for Srinagar at 4 pm on Thursday  in a private vehicle registration number UP 16 BM 7383.

Mohsin Qadri’s father Muhammad Maqbool Qadri runs a medical shop near SMHS Hospital, whereas Shahid Qadri was also running a medical shop.

Soon after the news of death of two cousins reached Dhobiwan, Sheikhpora, wherefrom they hailed, the market was closed and the people staged a sit-in on Srinagar-Gulmarg highway demanding investigation into mysterious death of the two cousins.

The family members of the deceased cousins suspect murder and are demanding an investigation into the case.

The circumstances under which the two cousins died remain unknown.

It is said that the two cousin are close relatives of advocate and TV debater late Babar Qadri.

Police have taken the dead bodies into their custody and sent them for autopsy.
