Srinagar: A partially operational branch of Jammu and Kashmir Bank at Zainakote was gutted in a midnight blaze on Friday.

Witnesses told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the fire broke out in the first floor of the complex, where the Branch of J&K Bank Zainakote is partially operational.

Another witness who owns a shop in the complex said, the fire has damaged the entire floor of J&K Bank.

Notably the JK Bank branch Zainakote has shifted most of it’s operations from this Branch to other location in the area in Industrial area of HMT Zainakote, however, some of the operations were still active in the branch.

However there was no report of any loss of life or injury in the incident.
