Ganderbal: In view of the rising water levels in Sindh Nallah, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Krittika Jyotsna today urged the general public to avoid picnic, swimming and bathing in Sindh Nallah for the safety of their own lives.

She said that the district administration has also issued an advisory in this regard.

The DC said this during a routine press briefing to present an overall situation of the Covid-19 in the district, besides the covid containment and mitigation measures employed so far in the district.

Regarding active positive cases in the district, the DC said that 131 cases are active in the district and only 4 persons are admitted in District Hospital besides, no death has been reported in the past two weeks.

The DC said that containment zones have come down to 23 and about 62 percent active cases are from these zones.
