Former cashier of DPL Srinagar chargesheeted
Srinagar: The Crime Branch Kashmir today produced challan against a former cashier of District Police Lines Srinagar in a case registered against him some twenty years back, Crime Branch said in a statement Monday.
It said the accused Absar Ahmad Dar, son of Abdul Aziz Dar of Solina Srinagar, was charegesheeted in the court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption Srinagar, for his alleged complicity in embezzlement in the accounts of salaries and General Provident Fund (GPF) of the employees at DPL Srinagar.
Case was registered against the accused in the year 2001.
