AG Mir appointed IG ITBP on deputation basis

Srinagar: The Union Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday appointed Managing Director J&K Police Housing Corporation, Abdul Gani Mir as the new IG ITBP at the Centre on deputation basis.

An office memorandum issued by Raman Kumar, Under Secretary to the government in the Union Home Ministry while approving Mir’s appointment to the top post in level 14 in the apt matrix, said Mir’s appointment will be for a period of five years from the date of joining or until further orders.
