Srinagar: Najmeena Akhtar, a Female Multi Purpose Health Worker (FMPHW) at Primary Health Center Kullan of Kangan area in Ganderbal district has expressed her gratitude to Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha for commending her Covid-19 efforts.

Akhtar is involved in the vaccination programme at the health center, assigned to administer vaccination jabs to the people at the PHC Kullan which has achieved 100 percent vaccination target of priority groups.

“I thank LG Manoj sir for noticing our work and subsequently mentioning our center as well as team during his monthly Radio show Awaam Ki Awaz. Our team at the center is more motivated than ever after LG Sahab expressed his appreciation for our work,” said Akhtar.

Akhtar also spoke about the guidance and support provided by the district administration and Health Department while achieving 100 vaccination target at the center.

During his third edition of monthly Radio Talk ‘Awaam Ki Awaaz’, Lt Governor Manoj  Sinha for the second time had shared some of the inspiring stories of good Samaritans, and saluted their spirit and dedication towards human service.

In the programme, Lt Governor had appreciated the efforts of frontline healthcare workers and had also mentioned health workers like Akhtar for relentless efforts and strength during the present health crisis.

Meanwhile, Akhtar has appealed to people to inoculate themselves to save themselves from this deadly illness.
