JAMMU: In connection with the celebration of 7th International Day of Yoga, Department of Youth Services and Sports (YS&S) today organised an impressive function in this regard at Khel Gaon Nagrota here.

Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Farooq Khan was the chief guest on the occasion while as Director General, Youth Services & Sports, Dr. Saleem-ur-Rehman was also present at the event.

Addressing the participants, Advisor Khan said that this Yoga Day remains remarkable throughout the Globe and India is known world over as Yog Guru.

The Advisor said that we all should do Yoga not only on Yoga day but include it in our daily routine so that we can stay healthy and fit.

District Youth Officer, Jammu, Sukhdev Raj Sharma, Deputy Director YSS, Assistant Director YSS, DYSSO Jammu and other officials of the department besides teachers and students also participated in the programme. All the participants followed required SOP’s and Covid guidelines while performing various Yoga exercises.
