Forces launch CASO in Kunzer Tangmarg

Baramulla: Security forces on Saturday launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Gokhama Village of Kunzer Town in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, official sources said.

They said that following a tip-off about the presence of militants, Special Operation Group (SOG) Kunzer , and 2 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) launched a joint search operation in Gokhama Village of Kunzer town in northern Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

All exit points were sealed by the security forces, they said adding later house to house search was launched. However, so far no contact was established with the militants, they said adding the operation was going on when the reports last came in.
