Missing Bemina youth’s family continue to seek whereabouts of their son

Pulwama: A 24-year-old youth from south Kashmir’s Pulwama district has gone missing five days ago and since then there are no traces of him.

Manzoor Ahmad Mir, son of Sana Ullah Mir, resident of Babahara village in Pulwama district, left his home on Sunday morning but did not return.

Local news agency KNO quoted a family member saying that they tried to contact him but despite repeated attempts, his phone was switched off.

“After failing to contact him, we tried to contact his friends, relatives and even neighbors but failed to get any clue about him,” the family member said adding that they have lodged a missing report at concerned police station.

“The family members of Manzoor including parents and brother have appealed the militant organizations that if their son is with them “please return him for the sake of humanity”.

They also requested police and public to help them in tracing him on humanitarian grounds. A police official while confirming that a youth has gone missing, said efforts are on trace him and bring him back.
