PDD daily wager succumbs to injuries
Srinagar: A daily-wager of Power Development Department (PDD) succumbed to injuries at SKIMS Soura on Friday ten days after suffering an electric shock at Tulkhan village of Bijbehara in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
News agency KNO quoting an official reported that Ashiq Hussain, son of Mohammad Subhan Khan of Waghama Bijbehara, received an electric shock when he came in contact with a live wire in Tulkhan locality while repairing HT line on May 25.
Ashiq was immediately rushed to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Bijbehara from where he was shifted to GMC Anantnag wherefrom doctors referred him to SKIMS Soura in serious condition.
The official said that Ashiq succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS on Friday afternoon.
