16-yr-old boy dies of cardiac arrest in Kulgam

Kulgam: A teenage boy died of cardiac arrest in Yaripora area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday, officials said.

An official told Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a boy identified as Faizan Ayoub Bhat (16) son of Mohammad Ayoub Bhat of Matibugh Yaripora died soon after complaining of severe pain in the chest at his home.

He said that Faizan was immediately rushed to a nearby healthcare facility, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Notably, the Kashmir Valley has witnessed a surge in sudden cardiac arrests and scores of people have died so far in the valley due to cardiac arrest. (KNO)
