Srinagar: An army trooper allegedly hanged himself to death at an Airforce Station in Srinagar on Saturday.

Quoting official sources, news agency KNO reported that the trooper hailing from Kotli Kalan area of Haryana took the extreme step inside his room at the station.

Officials said that the reason for the suicide could not be ascertained immediately.

They said that the proceedings have been initiated in this regard.
