Srinagar: For repairs and maintenance, the Srinagar-Jammu national highway will remain closed on every Wednesday in the month of June.
In an order issued by the Public Works department, it been decided that all Wednesdays in the month of June there would be no vehicular movement on the highway, news agency KNO reported.
The order says that it has now been decided that all Wednesdays falling on 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th of June, 2021 would be “Traffic Dry Day” on NH-44.
Meanwhile, an official said that tomorrow (Friday) also there shall be no traffic movement on the highway from either side in view of the maintenance, repairing of the road.
