869 persons fined, 83 FIRs registered, 157 arrested for violating guidelines: Police
Srinagar: Police on Tuesday said that during past 24 hours, it has arrested 157 persons, lodged 83 FIRs and also realized fine to the tune of ₹1,33,275 from 869 people for violating the COVID guidelines/rules across the Kashmir valley.
It also said that 55 vehicles and two motorcycles were also seized in Baramulla and Bandipora districts for violating guidelines/restrictions while five shopkeepers were also booked in Budgam for violating Covid-19 norms.
