14 more die of Covid-19 in Kashmir, toll climbs to 2,435 in J&K

Srinagar: Fourteen patients who were tested positive for COVID-19 in Kashmir have died since last night, taking fatalities count in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir to 2,435.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the patients who died since last night after testing positive for COVID-19 include 65-year-old lady from Kawadara, female from Pampore Pulwama, 56-year-old man from Sonwar, 50-year-old man from Pakherpora Budgam, 82-year-old man from Hawal, 50-year-old woman from Shangus Anantnag, 62-year-old man from Anantnag, 69-year-old man from Watergam Baramulla, 80-year-old man from Batamaloo, 60-year-old man from Pantha Chowk, 60-year-old, 65-year-old and 75-year-old male from Pulwama and 55-year-old man from Sopore.

An official said that a 65-year-old female from Kawdara and 80-year-old man from Batamaloo died at JLNM Hospital Rainawari, whereas, 50-year-old lady from Shangus Anantnag, 50-year-old man from Pakherpora Budgam and a lady from Pampore Pulwama died at Sher-e-Kashmir Institute Of Medical Sciences Soura since last night.

He added that 57-year-old man from Sonawar, 65-year-old man from Anantnag, 69-year-old man from Watergam Baramulla and 60-year-old man from Pantha Chowk Srinagar died since last night at SMHS Hospital after testing positive for COVID-19.

He further added that 82-year-old man from Hawal died at CD Hospital Dalgate and 60-year-old, 65-year-old, 75-year-old man from Pulwama died at district hospital Pulwama, whereas, 55-year-old man from Sopore died at SDH Sopore.

With 14 fresh COVID-19 fatalities, the death toll in due to virus in Jammu and Kashmir climbed to 2,435, which include 981 from Jammu division and 1,454 from Kashmir division—(KNO)
