Govt orders promotion of 29 KAS officers

Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday accorded  sanction to the promotion of seventeen (17) Selection Grade officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service to the Special Scale of KAS in pay level 13 (123100-215900), with immediate effect.

Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department issued the order under No.  GAD(Ser)Genl/29/2020-I in this regard.

The promotees include Puneet Sharma, Shabir Hussain Bhat, Altaf Ahmad Khan, Haris Ahmad Handoo, Ashwani Khajuria, Kapil Sharma, Syed Qamar Sajad, Abid Hussain, Pankaj Kumar Sharma, Suraj Parkash Rukwal, Pawan Kumar, Mohammad Farooq Dar, Akramulla Tak, Bharat Singh, Abdul Star, Jyoti Rani Slathia, Sham Lal and Krishan Lal.

Consequent upon the above, the promoted officers Shabir Hussain Bhat, Pankaj Kumar Sharma, Suraj Parkash Rukwal, Mohammad Farooq Dar and Krishan Lai presently functioning as Additional Secretaries in different departments have been designated as Special Secretaries in their respective departments, reads the order.

Meanwhile, sanction has been accorded to the promotion of  twelve (12) Selection Grade officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service to the Special Scale of KAS in pay level 13 (123100-215900), with immediate effect.

The promotees include Bashir Ahmad Lone, Rishpal Singh, Vikas Gupta, Pankaj Raj Katoch, Tassaduq Hussain Mir, Narinder Khajuria, Ashok Kumar Sharma, Khalid Majeed, Charandeep Singh, Kanta Devi, Vishesh Paul Mahajan and Rajinder Kumar Sharma.

The order issued by GAD said that the promoted officers Narinder Khajuria, Khalid Majeed and Charandeep Singh presently functioning as Additional Secretaries in different departments of the Civil Secretariat, have been designated as Special Secretaries to Government in their respective departments.
